Dr. Natasha Little-Harrison, Psy.D., LCP

Executive Director, Lead Clinical Psychologist

Natasha Little-Harrison is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and Mom, who has been providing direct services to children and families in the field for over 20 years. As a child/adolescent psychologist, Natasha Little-Harrison has devoted her adult life to promoting holisitic wellness through her work with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities. Using a strength based model, Natasha Little-Harrison has worked with clients and their families to recognize their true capabilities and assist them with learning strategies to overcome any obstacle standing in the way of them reaching their full potential for wellness and happiness.

 

Dr. Little-Harrison earned her Doctorate of Psychology, Masters of Science in Educational Methodology and Statistics, Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology, and a Bachelor’s Degree (Major: Psychology; Minor(s): Education and Africana Studies) all from the University of Albany. She completed her internship at the Center for Disability Services in Albany, NY. There she received specialized training in dual diagnoses while providing direct services to children and adults with developmental delays, brain injuries, and behavioral/personality disorders.

After completing her internship, Dr. Little-Harrison moved to Virginia and worked in a variety of settings including local school systems, behavioral health systems, and medical practices. As a former practicing school psychologist, Dr. Little-Harrison is readily sought out to provide educational consultation for children/families and schools.


Dr. Little-Harrison specializes in conducting psychological, cognitive, educational, social-emotional, and functional behavioral assessments for children k-12 and adults with developmental delays. These assessments are used to identify strengths and weaknesses, diagnose educational and mental health diagnoses (e.g., ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Emotional Disabilities), and to assist with developing personalized recommendations based on the results obtained from the assessments. Dr. Little-Harrison also provides individual and group counseling crises counseling services, parent and staff consultation and training, social skills and problem-solving training, and goal planning assistance.
