Candice Roquemore Bonner, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and formally
trained pediatric neuropsychologist who specializes in the evaluation of children,
adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of conditions that impact learning,
behavior, and social-emotional functioning, including attention-deficit hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD), learning disorders and autism. She believes that these evaluations can
help us better understand a child’s cognitive and emotional strengths and vulnerabilities
in order to assist them in reaching their optimal potential. Dr. Roquemore Bonner has
trained in a variety of settings, including state and public hospitals, community mental
health, schools, and specialty medical clinics. She has a specialty interest in the role of
metacognition, the neuroscience of anger and aggression, and the complex interaction
between a child’s internal and external environments.
